[advertise]广告[/advertise] 11/4/2009, Following China Telecom, China Unicom group also invite bid for PLC PLC（Planer Lightwave Circuit）products today in Beijing headquarter. 45 suppliers have benn asked to make offer. Before this bid, Some provinical Unicom companies have done the similar work. Some analysts thought this kind of bid indicated that China Unicom began their FTTx building formerly. In the coming years, this building will bring a several hundreds million RMB cake to those PLC suppliers. Unicom invited bid for EPON equipments this june. At that time they announced they would build a EPON network which can supports more than 11 million customers. In year 2009, China Unicom hopes to attract at leat 2.5million EPON customers. On the other side, China Telecom has a bigger EPON construction plan. Another service provider in mainland China, China Mobile has build several GPON trial networks. For the detailed procedures of this PLC bid, it is said that there would be at least 2 rounds of bid. In the first round, the suppliers who can get more recommendations from provinical Unicom would enter the 2nd round. In 2nd round, Unicom will depend on price, technology, business and customer service to decide who will be the final winners 2 months ago, China Telecom announced their PLC bid result. 34 PLC supplers enter the final supplier list. The top 10 suppliers are Fiberhome, HopeCom, Sun&Sea, Changzhou Pacific, Shenzhen Zhongxing Xindi, Accelink, Broadex, Letong(Shanghai), Kunshan Datang, Nanjing Putian.
