East Bright group, the No. 1 fountain manufacture in mainland China, today announced that they would invest 2.636 billion RMB in Chongqing city to build a POF manufacturing base which will have 2.4million KM manufacturing capability. In the past half year, this East Bright has announced several similar project, including Yingko, Liaoning Province, and Jiyuan, Henan Province, Weihai, Shandong Province. In each of these projects, they announced to invest about 2billion RMB, and each project will have nearly 2million POF manufacturing capability. Totally, this group will have nearly 10million POF manufacturing ability in 3 years. But who are East Bright group? From their website, you can not trace their relationship with POF industry. You can only discover they are a fountain company, they have business in real estate, advertisement, garden etc. Their founder, Mr. Jia,zhixue founded this company from 10 million RMB loan in year 2001, now they have nearly 1billion RMB revenue. With 1 billion revenue, how can they invest more than 10 billion to build 4 POF manufacturing base in half a year? Without any base in fiber optics industry, Where did they get the technology and market knowledge? I tried to contact this group, I also asked some friends who are in the POF business about this group, but nobody knows. It is so strange for me that this East Bright has such ambition on POF. I hope they can succeed, but I also have doubt on them. But you know, in today’s China, anything there is possibility.
