[advertise]广告[/advertise]1/19/2010, According to some insiders, China Mobile's 4th phase TD-SCDMA equipment bid may be hold on March. The scale of this bid may be as high as 100K base stations. It is reported that China Mobile has hold inside meeting to discuss this. According to their plan, they need to deploy at least 70K base stations within this year. In order to increase market share on 3G market, China Mobile has decided to shorten their 3G construction period, that means they will use 2 years to finish the former 3 years's plan. In the 3rd phase of TD network building, the network can covers 238 cities. It is estimated that 4th phase building can cover 330 more cities. China Mobile plan to let their TD network to cover all important cities and develped counties in eastern China. China Mobile also requires their TD network can have the same quality as their 2G network. In former bids, ZTE got biggest market share, followed by Huawei, Datang Mobile, Nokia Siemens, Putian, Fiberhome, Erission. In the coming bid, this situation may not change a lot according to some analyst. Because 4th phase bid is mainly about network in counties which belong to those big cities, the county network will follow the same choice for TD equipment in larger cities.
