[advertise]广告[/advertise]April 26,2010, Shanghai, Hengtong group(600487, Shanghai Stock market), leading fiber cable manufacturer, just announced Q1 financial result. In the first quarter, Hengtong has revenue of 458 million Yuan, an 57.6% increase compared to Q1 last year. The operating income for the first quarter is 53.25 million Yuan, an increase of 98.5% compared to the same period of last year. Earning per diluted share for the Q1 is 0.21 Yuan. The gross profit margin for the Q1 2010 is 28.3%, increased by 2.9% compared to Q1 of last year, but decreased 2.3% from the historic highest point of last quarter. Hengtong also announced that their fiber preform project has entered the final phase waiting for the last check. The whole project can be finished in this May.
