5/11/2010， Xi-an, Guanggu communication(www.xaguanggu.com), a new fiber optics instrument company, announced that their fully self developed new OTDR GT-18B can help technicians maintain fiber optics network more convenient and accurate, faster.

According to Guanggu, GT-18B is an OTDR specially developed for metro network, FTTH network and LAN application. With performance of 1.6 meter dead zone and 2.5cm sample resolution, GT-18B can provide better flexibility and operating ability.

"Before this OTDR, all other OTDR products on market are not very suitable to China's market request. They are either too expensive and with many not useful application, or their performance is not good enough to meet customer's request. From the suitability, cost, simple operation, GT-18B is the only OTDR which suits Chinese customers 'request." A spokesman of Guanggu said.
