5/25/2010, Qingdao, Leading Chinese GPON and other transceiver supplier, Hisense-Ligent has just claimed to make breakthrough on co-fired ceramics hybrid integrated optical transceiver technology. Hisense-Ligent announced that they are the first to introduce this product in mainland China after nearly half year R&D work.

According to Hisence-Ligent, their new hybrid transceiver supports 3.125Gbps each channel, adopts MT/MPO connector and 850nm wavelength, weights 5 grams each transceiver, the dimension is 16.4X16.4X4mm, the package is LCC48.

“The new Hisence-Ligent co-fired creamics hybrid transceiver can be widely used in backplane, high definition audio video transmission etc, it has better EMI performance compared to traditional transceivers. There is huge market opportunity for these kinds of transceivers”, said a spokesman of Hisence-Ligent.
