June 24,2010, Hisense Broband, a leading PON transceiver manufacture in Qingdao, announced that its SFP+ 10G EPON/GPON ONU has entered mass production and is shipping in volume to tier-one Telecom equipment manufactures.

Hisense's 10G SFP+ EPON/GPON ONU adopts SC interface, supports single fiber double direction transmission, fully meets SFF-8431 requirements. Its uses 1577nm wavelength in download direction and 1310nm in upperload direction for EPON OUN, 1270nm wavelength for GPON ONU.For GPON ONU, Hisense's products also meet the new ITU-T G.987.2 draft requirements.
