July 22,2010, Wuhan, Among the just announced year 2009's Science and Technology awards of Hubei Province, several fiber optics companies become the winners.  Located in central of China, Hubei is famous for fiber optics industry, the capital Wuhan has the name of "Optical Valley" in China.

The jointed project of "Hybrid TDM and WDM PON network and key components" by Central China Science and Technology University, National photonic lab in Wuhan, YOTC,  a leading access network solution provider, and HG Feiteng Photonic company, wins the first class award on technology invention.

Another jointed project of "Key technology and commercialization of indoor FTTH cable" by Fiberhome, Wuhan Research Institute on Telecommunication, wins  the first class award on Science and Technology advancement.  Changfei's project named "Using PCVD process to manufacture polarization maintaining fiber" wins 3rd class award on Science and Technology advancement.

Totally, 16 local enterprises are among the list of winners.
