July 27,2010, Shenzhen, In the wake of the launch of formal triple-play service trial in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, the rich city announces her related industry scale reaches 300billion Yuan by the end of year 2012. According to the plan, Shenzhen will have more than 3 million broadband subscribers, 3 million digital TV subscribers including 1.8 million HD IPTV subscribers.

Shenzhen Cable TV and Shenzhen Telecom are the two key suppliers for triple play services. By the end of this year, Shenzhen Cable TV will have a total network which can support interactive HD services for 2.6 millions subscribers. Shenzhen Telecom will implement a FTTH network with 200K home passed.

In order to promote Shenzhen's triple play industry, Shenzhen city government  will organize a special team led by mayor Mr. Xuqin to guarantee the support for the project.
