August 23, Nanjing, After 2 months test, China Telecom announced result for her new PLC tender, the 2nd large-scale tender after last year's first tender .
Compared to last year, including 34 new suppliers, 84 PLC suppliers joined this tender. 50 suppliers finally passed the test of China telecom, 16 more than last year.

In this year's tender, China Telecom classifies PLC suppliers into 3 types according to their product's quality, price, service etc. A type enterprises will have 60% market share, B type no more than 30% market share, and C type below 10%.

People who is familiar with this tender told Cordacord that the detailed quantity request and share distribution on this tender can only be known after February 2011. But the quantity of this tender made a new history record. China Telecom mainly request 1X8, 1X16 and 1X32 PLCs.

Huawei, ZTE, Sun&sea, ADC Centuryman, Hopecom, Browave, are among the A type suppliers in this tender, while Fibercom, Broadtex, Ipusen etc among B type.
