August 23, Xiamen, Uxfastic, a leading transceiver chip solution supplier, announced their G/GEPON ONU chip and touted it the first of its kind in mainland China.
Uxfastic's UX3328 is a highly integrated chip. Within dimension of QFN32 5mm X5mm , the IC includes 2.5G limiting amplifier, burst-mode laser driver, digital signal diagnosed function, Master/Slave IIC interface, Burst mode indicator (TX_SD) and 2 temperature looking for table (TLUT), 1 path DA output interface and integrated security function. UX3328 is also a very flexible IC with its polarity option, burst mode/continuous mode option, tunable receiving bandwidth etc. This function makes UX3328 used both in PON transceiver and continuous SFP/SFF transceiver.
