This is what Ren,zhengfei, CEO of Huawei, said in an inner meeting of Huawei last November. Facing the rumor that Ren would let his son to replace his role in Huawei, Ren,zhengfei had to admit,"My working method with media is with some obstacles. That misunderstanding about Huawei is mainly because Huawei does not communicate with media actively, Huawei is even afraid of passive communication. On a country, Huawei's employees take this as a low-profile working method."

The attitude change towards media is just one of several changes disclosed from Huawei's recent board of director meeting held on January 15.In this meeting, Mrs. Sun,yafang was voted again as Huawei's chairman. Ren,zhengfei Guo,ping, Xu,zhijun and Hu,houkun were elected as vice chairmen. The long term directors, also founding members, Ji,ping and Fei,min exited the Huawei board of directors.

Besides the adjustments on board of director, Huawei is also considering organization adjustment from divisions based on product line to four customer based divisions, which are carriers, enterprises, terminals, and others. Huawei has realized that its telecom business is close to ceiling. Huawei's future is based on the new opportunities brought by the interaction of telecom and IT industry. Last November, Ren,zhengfei once talked about Huawei's cloud computing strategy. According to him, Huawei should master the opportunity of cloud computing, and go out of the close competition of telecom industry.
