10G EPON PR30 platform and low power SFP ONU with embedded MAC solutions

The 10G EPON PR30 platform is composed of the10G EPON symmetric OLT transceiver andONU diplexer, both compliant to the 10/10G Base IEEE 802.3av PR30 and MSA standards.The 10G EPON OLT transceiver module deliversthe upstream and downstream bandwidth to meet the needs of multi-family residential building (Multi Dwelling Unit or MDU) customers by providing 1 Gbit/s and 10 Gbit/s access in both downstream and upstream directions, each data rate and direction traffic on separate dedicated wavelengths.Its real time signal strength and digital diagnostic capabilities provide advanced network monitoring features.The advanced 10GEPON symmetric ONU diplexer,providing supportfor 10 Gbit/s transmission for both downstream and upstream directions, is ideal to address the low power consumption requirements of Fiber to the Business, Node, and Curb applications.

Source Photonics will also demo the highly integrated low power SFP ONU with embedded MACtargeted at the next generation of LAN, DSL, and EoC.Features include support for optical link measurement and diagnosis,802.1Q VLAN flexibility,and 1.5MB of integrated downstream and upstream packet buffering.
