Source Photonics announces the addition of the new low power 100GBASE-LR4 CFP  transceiver, the CPL-A4-MR-LR-CLFB, to its expanding 40G and 100G product portfolio

Chatsworth, CA –– Source Photonics Inc., a leading global provider of optical communication products used in telecommunication systems and data communication networks, announces the addition of the new low power consumption 100GBASE-LR4 CFP  transceiver, the CPL-A4-MR-LR-CLFB, to its expanding 40G and 100G transceiver product portfolio.

Targeting the growing bandwidth needs of telecom and data center applications, the MSA-compliant CPL-A4-MR-LR-CLFB transceiver is designed to support 100GbE and OTU4 data traffic spanning distances of up to 10km over single mode fiber. The transceiver integrates 4 EML lasers and PIN receivers. The maximum power consumption is compliant with CFP MSA power class 2 making it highly attractive for low power consumption applications.

In addition, the Source Photonics 40G and 100G product portfolio includes a wide range of QSFP+ and CFP transceivers. The low power SPQ-10E-LR-CDFx  and SPQ-10E-SR-CDFx series 40G QSFP+ transceivers are solutions to meet growing bandwidth demands in enterprise, datacenter, and access applications. The SPQ-10E-LR-CDFx series supports transmission up to 10km over single mode fiber, the SPQ-10E-SR-CDFx series up to 300m over OM4 multi-mode fiber. The CPC-44-MR-ER-CLFA 40G CFP transceiver extends the reach of 40Gbe transmission to 40 kilometers, targeting metro and next generation packet transport networks.
