BERLIN, Germany, Oct 31, 2012， VI Systems has been selected to join a 3-months program in Sunnyvale, CA at the German Silicon Valley Accelerator (GSVA). The accelerator provides entrepreneurs with intensive support and mentoring program in the Silicon Valley.  The GSVA supports German startups in their first steps into becoming internationally recognized and successful companies. Every quarter, participating startup founders get the opportunity to come to Silicon Valley and accelerate their startup development. The selected companies are exposed to the dynamic and competitive international environment and dive into the spirit that makes Silicon Valley the world’s premier center for innovation and startup success.  Besides gaining an overall understanding of Silicon Valley business culture, the program is specifically designed to accelerate the growth in the U.S. market. The founders also gain an understanding of possible financing options for their venture and potentially receive introductions to business angels and venture capital investors.
The GSVA is a private initiative financially supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) and private sponsors, partners and donors to establish a permanent bridge between Germany and Silicon Valley that facilitates transatlantic startups.
