Optical Xun Technology high-end optoelectronic device industry base reached production, science and technology innovation to speed up again

Wuhan New City Optical Valley Area ushered in the production celebration of OPTOTECH's high-end optoelectronic devices industrial base, which marked another major milestone for OPTOTECH in the field of optical communication on December 18th, demonstrating the company's acceleration in scientific and technological innovation.

Mr. Huang Xuanze, Chairman of OPTOTECH, gave a detailed introduction of the construction of the new industrial base and the situation of reaching production, and announced that the industrial base had successfully reached production. This achievement not only represents the new height of OPTOTECH in the field of pursuing light and pursuing core, but also symbolizes the company's leap in the manufacturing capacity of high-end optoelectronic devices.

Located in the East Lake Comprehensive Protection Zone, the industrial base took only 6.5 months from design to construction startup, 17 months from startup to production, and only 6 months to successfully reach production, reflecting the efficient speed of OPTOTECH in science and technology innovation. An industry-leading fully automated assembly line for optical modules has been established in the base, focusing on the production of 400G and 800G high-speed optical modules required by AI data centers. Since its commissioning in May this year, the production capacity has been steadily increased and more than 3,000 new jobs have been created, which has brought double growth in revenue and profit for OPTOTECH.

The first phase of the high-end optoelectronic devices industrial base of OPTOTECH covers an area of 120 acres, including 10 buildings such as R&D center and production plant. The project has won a number of honors, including Wuhan Safety Production Standardization Demonstration Site, Wuhan Structural Quality Engineering, etc. It was named Wuhan 5G Benchmarking Intelligent Factory, and Industry Typical Application of China 5G+Industrial Internet Conference.

After the completion of the production activity, the invited guests visited the intelligent manufacturing showroom and high-end optical module production line of OPTOTECH to further understand the company's innovative achievements and technical strength. The event was hosted by Mr. Hu Qianggao, General Manager of OPTOTECH, and was attended by a number of persons in charge of Donghu Hi-Tech Zone and China CITIC Group, staff representatives of OPTOTECH and media representatives.
