On December 19, 2024, YOFC and R&D General Institute of Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd. jointly announced that the intelligent vehicle fiber-optic communication solution jointly developed by the two parties on the Dongfeng Yixun eπ007 model successfully passed a 72-day road test with a total mileage of 12,000 kilometers. The success of this test marks significant progress in the practical application of in-vehicle fiber optic communication technology, which provides strong technical support for the development of intelligentization and informatization in the automotive industry.

 

In the real-vehicle test conducted under comprehensive road conditions in Xiangyang, YOFC's in-vehicle fiber-optic communication system showed excellent stability and high performance, and a total of 1,176 sets of test data were collected, fully confirming the reliability of the system. This achievement not only demonstrates the application potential of YOFC technology in the automotive industry, but also lays a solid foundation for the wider application of fiber optic communication technology in the vehicle environment.
