On June 24, 2025, China Mobile released a centralized procurement announcement on its official website, stating that the funds for the 2025-2027 G.654E optical fiber and cable product centralized procurement project have been implemented, and the procurement conditions have been met, and now public bidding is carried out.

It is understood that the centralized procurement products in this period are G.654E optical fiber and cable products, with an estimated procurement scale of approximately 22,900 fiber kilometers, equivalent to 3.1386 million core kilometers.

The project adopts share bidding, and the number of winning bidders is 2 to 3. The shares corresponding to each winning bidder are as follows:

If 3 suppliers win the bid, the winning shares are: 50% for the first place, 27% for the second place, and 23% for the third place in turn;

If 2 suppliers win the bid, the winning shares are: 70% for the first place and 30% for the second place in turn.

In addition, the project sets a maximum bid price limit of 630,563,700 yuan (excluding tax total price). If the bid price of the bidder is higher than the maximum bid price limit, its bid will be rejected.
