5/23/2018,May 11, 2018 – AFR, the expert in high power optical components, announced today that its SteadiBeam® Technology was honored with a Silver Award by the judges of the annual Laser Focus World Innovators Awards program. The panel of judges are technology industry experts.
SteadiBeam® Technology is an optical solution designed by AFR and used in many of its products. It minimizes thermal lensing effect in high power laser devices such as isolators. SteadiBeam® preserves the beam quality and makes AFR’s products superior to other products in the market.
Kevin Zhang, AFR’s COO & VP of Engineering, said "It is the only technology, to our knowledge, which has been demonstrated and applied to volume commercial products at minimal cost increase to customers.
